Sithembile’s father deserted the family, and her mother died in 2008. She and her sister Vamsile (also in our program) live with their grandparents and 6 cousins. She is known as Temalangeni on official records.
This tiny young lady actually attended Form 1 in 2020 (like our 8th grade, but part of high school). She has a sponsor who pays for half of her school fees, so she still needs a sponsor for the other ½ at $25/mo.
Sthembile is well-behaved and a very happy child, in spite of the hardships she’s faced. Her smile lights up a room—and our hearts!
Her church attendance is always faithful. GSM supplies food to this family monthly.
